Vegetables and lentils stew with herb cobblers

I chose this dish because my grandmother made it when I was a child, my mother made, I make it and my family make it. The dish is a very healthy meal and is warm in winter nights. So the recipe has been passed down to 4 generations.

Ingredients List of ingredients with quantity.
5 potatoes
2 leeks
5 celery
1 small swede
8 carrots
1 table spoon tomato puree
1 pound flour
50g suet
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1 bunch of parsley
2 hand fulls of lentils
2 stockcubes

Peel and chop all the vegetables. Put a large pan of water, bring to boil, add the stock cubes, mixed herbs and tomato puree. Add all the vegetables and simmer, after 30 minutes add the cooked lentils (cook lentils in microwave in water for 40 minutes until soft)

Dumplings: mix flour, suet and herbs with water, make a dough. Then roll the dough into balls and add to pan, leave for 15 minutes.

Then the dish is cooked and ready to serve.
